There was limited time that I was able to interact with the choreographer on this dance piece. We were constrained by the time of their contract, but we made the most with coming into rehearsal so that we could talk through the key points of this piece. I also took this time to get the feeling of the dance piece as a whole. It was important for me since the choreographer wouldn’t be at Technical Rehearsal to understand the feeling as deeply as I could. This was a story about a lost group of people who had to work through hardships in a forest. Slowly they start to devolve into more and more anarchy behavior, eventually starting to cull the weakest among the group.
